Present work explored leaf extract’s thrombolytic property, could serve superior choice for currently using drugs. Objectives: The present study primarily focused on investigating phyto-constituents such phenolic flavonoid compounds in methanolic extract followed by GC-MS analysis determining vitro thrombin inhibition vivo thrombolysis activity. Materials Methods: Swiss albino mice (total = 36) were randomly distributed into six groups (n=6). Thrombosis was instigated injecting 40 μL 1% carrageenan (Type-I) via subplantar region right hind paw each mouse. plant screened its inhibitory potency. In animal studies, size blood clots mouse tails recorded administering extracts at 100, 200 300 mg/kg body weight every 24, 48 72 hr, respectively. Results: A dose showed significant activity 48, hr (p< 0.001) a concentration-dependent manner when correlated with control group. reduction length 0.01) observed hr. acute oral toxicity study, administration no mortality behavioral changes up to 2000 dose. occurrence about 16 eluted compounds; among these, few have been useful, accounts therapeutic importance plant. Genetic Diversity Assessed yhrough RAPD Markers in Terminalia Pallida Brandis
Random amplified polymorphic DNA markers were used to evaluate the genetic diversity in a representative population of Terminalia pallida from six different geographical regions of chittoor district. 20 OPA primers were used for the RAPD analysis. A total of 33 bands yielded from 7 reproducible primers, with a mean of 4.28 amplified bands per primer. The plant species showed 69.5% polymorphism....

in this work, a novel and fast method for direct analysis of volatile compounds (davc) of medicinal plants has been developed by holding a filament from different parts of a plant in the gc injection port. the extraction and analysis of volatile components of a small amount of plant were carried out in one-step without any sample preparation. after optimization of temperature, extraction time a...
The antimicrobial activities of methanolic extracts of Eucalyptus camaldulensis and Terminalia catappa against some pathogenic microorganisms
Methanolic extracts of leaves of Eucalyptus camaldulensis and Terminalia catappa were studied for in vitro microbial activities by agar dilution method. The phytochemical analysis of the crude extracts of the medicinal plants revealed the presence of saponin, saponin glycosides, steroid, cardiac glycoside, tannins, volatile oils, phenols and balsam (gum). The methanolic extracts of the two plan...
